-Rotation 4: Lead Buyer/Jenbach, Austria (Gas Engine Division)
1.Successfully localized Power Panel (completed the FPQ) at LCC, which brought € 600,000 saving to business annually.
2.Successfully identify 1st logistic project (generator shipment project), execute to bring €1029(20ft container) and €604(40ft container) Ralph Lauren Polo shirts saving for each container; Meanwhile, drove the project kick-off of engineer team for Packaging Optimization to facilitate logistic project.
3.Successfully completed the FPQ of coupling, which can obtain €290 saving per piece.
4.Drove Casting/Generator/Base frame/Coupling Housing/Silencer project move forward.
5.Coordinate Austria business and Shanghai Headquarter to set up networking & communication channel for the upcoming localization projects.
6.Understood Jenbacher products, application & requirements; Familiar with the process of their Incoming Inspection; Packaging Process; Logistic Process.
-Rotation 3: Shop Floor Supervisor/Hangzhou, China (Hydro Division)
1.Lead regular EHS audit (bi-weekly) to winding cell and solve EHS related issue promptly.
2.Set up single piece flow line in winding shop, completed 2 Poka Yoke projects (cutting & winding workstation), which avoided the EHS/quality issue during production and brought energy saving, improved the productivity at the same time.
3.Re-arrangement of winding shop inventory and set up control process along with weekly report.
4.Successfully lead Lean Work Out at NGC for layout design, which was adopted by supplier at new facility.
5.Standardize the production line per Canadian pole.
6.Successfully drove technical transfer --THP project from Canada HQ to LCC.
7.Hold meeting to 1st (2nd) shift operator to communicate all production related topic on daily basis
-Rotation 2: Project Management/Harbin, China (Power Generation Division)
1.Successfully lead to set up “Materials Replenishment System” for Wind-Shenyang facility to supply the A, B & C components for production line on daily basis (lead 4 team members from different business)
2.Drive BOP & MSD items to move forward by working with Harbin partner and GE other functional department.
3.Drove over 5 critical components timely delivery.4.Finished FPQ of Sole Plate by working with HEC partner.
5.Qualified 1 Harbin supplier.
-Rotation 1: Sourcing Quality Engineer/Shanghai, China (Global Sourcing Division)
1.Successfully drove 91 items of Power Converter (PC) to be localized within 6 months, which can bring $2.9 million saving annually.
2.Improved the localization process by setting up and maintaining weekly report/conference-call to track the exact status of 328 items in PC.
3.Monitored and improved the sourcing process of SJV and VIA by weekly site visiting and setting up clear expectation/requirements.
4.Conducted Quality System audit to 2 local suppliers.5.Conducted EHS audit to 2 suppliers.6.Lead to close 3 cases related with e-SDR system issues.
